Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem at a press conference Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Damascus where he said that Lebanon , by announcing they will not attend the Damascus summit, has lost a chance to solve the Lebanese presidential crisis. "We actually regret the absence of Lebanon's representative in this summit because there was an intention that the Arab leaders would discus in their closed-door meeting the political crisis in Lebanon .. and to discuss with (Syrian President Bashar) Assad the issue of Syrian-Lebanese relations," Moallem said.
